Summary
Kelly Bennett became Netflix Chief Marketing Officer in 2012. Reporting to the CEO, Kelly leads global marketing across more than 100 countries including the launch of entertainment brands such as 'House of Cards', 'Orange is the New Black' and Marvel's "Daredevil".
Prior to joining Netflix, Kelly spent nearly a decade with Warner Bros. Pictures where he most recently served as Vice President Interactive within the World Wide Marketing team leading international digital campaigns for movie titles including the Harry Potter franchise, Inception, 300, The Hangover, Sherlock Holmes, Ocean’s 12, The Dark Knight franchise and many more.
Before that Kelly ran digital marketing for Warner Bros. Pictures based in Europe, the Middle East and Africa and worked in promotion and business development at the company. He previously held executive positions at Dow Jones International and Ignition Media as well as being a partner in online marketing agency Cimex Media, all based in London UK.
Kelly recently served as a digital media advisor to President Obama and the White House Communications team in February 2015. He was marked as one of the 5 CMOs to watch in 2015 by The Wall Street Journal and ExecRank listed him as the top ranking CMO of 2015 based on business performance. He is a regular speaker at UCLA Business School and serves as a guest lecturer at Oxford University and Stanford Graduate School of Business.
